Manager Strategy & Transformation for Boer & Croon

Job description

The position of manager of Strategy & Transformation is twofold:

1. Lead External Strategy & Transformation Projects
As a manager Strategy & Transformation you will take ownership of complex strategy and transformation projects, either independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your focus will be on delivering tangible results across a variety of project types, including:
  • Strategy implementation
  • Portfolio and programme management
  • Operating model design
  • Organisation-wide transformations
Projects typically last 6–12 months and may involve working on-site at the client’s location. You will often collaborate with fellow consultants, Senior Managers, or experienced Interim Managers. You’ll also be actively involved in client account development, leveraging the Boer & Croon network for sector-specific expertise and sparring partners as needed.

2. Contribute to Building the Strategy & Transformation Team
Beyond client engagements, you’ll play a key role in strengthening and scaling our Strategy & Transformation practice. This includes:
  • Expanding your professional network and initiating dialogues with (potential) clients
  • Supporting business development efforts and co-developing propositions
  • Shaping and contributing to internal knowledge development and thought leadership
  • Participating in marketing, recruitment, and learning & development initiatives
You’ll be at the forefront of developing our community, expertise, and client base, helping us grow in both impact and influence.

Job requirements

Education and Experience

  • University degree, preferably in business, economics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 7 years of professional experience as a consultant in strategy and/or business transformation.
  • Proven experience in leading teams within projects and/or programmes.
  • Strong affinity with and understanding of change management processes.
