Boer & Croon collects personal data only insofar as is necessary for performing its assignments: finding candidates for vacancies, matching and placing applicants, building networks, knowledge networks, etc. Personal data may concern both potential and current candidates for a position as well as Boer & Croon's business associates.

COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data that is processed consists of, among other things, details from CVs, emails or letters, name and address details, date of birth, education, current and previous positions, salary details and interview records compiled by consultants. This data is stored on Boer & Croon's own secure servers or those of a third party.

In this context, personal data may be shared within all Boer & Croon-affiliated organisations, which includes YESS International Consultants.


USE OF COLLECTED DATA

Boer & Croon may use personal details that it

has at its disposal to send those concerned messages by post, telephone or email, or by contacting them personally in order to:

  • inform candidates about and invite them to pre-events,
  • inform candidates about available positions,
  • send candidates newsletters and/or press releases,
  • congratulate candidates on a new position,
  • to consult candidates in view of their specific knowledge,
  • maintain relationships with candidates,
  • keep business associates informed of any news and developments.

Individuals can always unsubscribe from receiving messages or indicate that they do not wish to be contacted. 


RETENTION PERIOD FOR PERSONAL DATA

When customers, business associates or a candidate register with Boer & Croon, this is the start of what is generally considered a long-term relationship. This means that Personal Data must be kept available for a longer period of time.

Boer & Croon handles Personal Data with the utmost of care and keeps this Personal Data safe until a request is made to delete the Personal Data, or when Boer & Croon decides to remove this Personal Data from its database.


SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

The employees of Boer & Croon take the utmost of care when handling any personal data they are responsible for and have a duty of confidentiality concerning any confidential information entrusted to them by a client or candidate.

Boer & Croon uses technical and organisational security measures to protect against any breaches of the Personal Data that we process as effectively as possible. Our security measures are continually improved in line with technological (ICT) developments.

If a data leak (breach) is detected, those affected will be informed and the appropriate authorities notified.


RIGHT OF ACCESS

Individuals whose Personal Data is processed, have the right of access to the Personal Data that we process about them.


RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION OR TO ERASURE

If the Personal Data of a person is incorrect or has been changed, Boer & Croon will correct this upon request. If a person indicates that they wish to be removed from Boer & Croon's records, Boer & Croon will remove their details from all their files. The person concerned will be notified accordingly. After carrying out the request to remove personal data, it will be noted in a so-called ‘do-not-call' registry.


WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT, RIGHT TO OBJECT, TO RESTRICT PROCESSING, AND TO DATA PORTABILITY

Individuals may submit an objection against the processing of their Personal Data. Individuals have the right to restrict processing and to transfer their Personal Data that is stored by us to an affiliated party or processor.
